To facilitate the Bidding Process
This page provides a simple tutorial regarding the bidding and auction process on our auction web site, UBIDMACHINERY.COM. We highly recommend that you print this page for future reference.  Bidding Step 1

By clicking on a photo of the item or the View this Auction as illustrated below, the Auction Detail information page will appear.
 
 
 Bidding Step 2
Please note that you must be a Registered Member of UBIDMACHINERY.COM before bidding. To register, click on the Register link at the top of any page on this site as indicated in the pictorial below. You will be taken to the Member Section. Select New Member Registration and follow the instructions.



If you previously registered, you may use the Login button to log in (see pictorial below).
 
 
 Bidding Step 3
Once you have registered or logged in, select the auction you want to bid on, and you will be taken to the bidding page. Click on the flashing green Enter Your Bid (as shown below) button to execute your bid in increments selected by the system.



If you are the high bidder and the Reserve Price is not yet been met, you will see a flashing green button called Reserve Not Yet Met - Keep Bidding! You may increase your bid by clicking on the flashing Enter Your Bid button until the Reserve Price is met.



If your bid is the highest and your bid reaches or exceeds the Reserve Price, the flashing Enter Your Bid button will change to a flashing red button called You are now the Highest Bidder.



If another bidder's bid exceeds your bid, the green Enter Your Bid button will reappear and will be flashing indicating that it is time for you to increase your bid.



We have created three ways for you to bid.
  1. You may use the Place Your Manual Bid field to place bid on the next allowable bid displayed that is already inserted for you.
  2. You may also use the Place Your Manual Bid to bid higher than the next allowable bid by typing in your higher bid.
  3. You may use the Place Your Maximum Proxy Bid field to place your maximum bid and have our system bid incrementally against other bidders up to your maximum bid.



A yellow Last Call button (as shown in the pictorial below) will appear and flash when the auction is in its last two minutes of the bidding process.
 
It is important to note that during the last two (2) minutes of the bidding process, if you place a bid during that 2-minute interval, the timer will automatically reset to an additional two (2) minutes (added on to the existing time left) – for example: time left of 5 seconds would be reset to 2 minutes and 5 seconds. This will occur every time someone places a bid during that two-minute time period.

If no more bids are placed within that two-minute time period, the bidding process will be officially concluded and the machine will be sold.

 Bidding Step 4
After you have searched the auctions listed on UBIDMACHINERY.COM and placed your bids or maximum bids, we recommend using the Memorize Button (see pictorial below) to add the auction you are bidding on to your Bid Tracker for future bidding. This feature will track he status of your bids. The Bid Tracker will report the status of your bids for all of the auctions you are bidding on and how much time is left to bid. We suggest that you check this page on a regular basis.

The is a useful tool not only for keeping track of the bids but also how much time is left to bid on the auction you have selected. You can also sort the information on Bid Tracker in chronological order by pressing on the date bar at the top of the listing of items bid upon.
