Rules & Regulations for Bidding:
In order to place a bid on an item posted on the
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
you must log-on as a Registered
Member and agree to the
TERMS & CONDITIONS. This important step must be
performed every time you log on to the site. However, it
is not necessary to log on if you are browsing and not
placing a bid.
The Seller and
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
pre-selected the amount of time allocated for the sale
of the item prior to the posting of the item on the web
site. For example, if the Seller chooses a ten-day
auction period and the item is sold during that time
period (conditional to the reserve being met and if a
reserve price is listed), the sale will be declared as
final and legally binding.
It is important to note that during the last two (2)
minutes of the bidding process, if you place a bid
during that 2-minute interval, the timer will
automatically reset to an additional two (2) minutes
(added on to the existing time left) – for example: time
left of 5 seconds would be reset to 2 minutes and 5
seconds. This will occur every time someone places a bid
during that two-minute time period. If no more bids are
placed within that two-minute time period, the bidding
process will be officially concluded and the machine
will be sold.
If your bid is the highest bid at the end of the
auction, and the Seller accepts your bid, you are
obligated to complete the transaction. See
BIDDING CONDITIONS at the beginning of this page
for any exceptions to this rule.
The currency for all bids placed is based on $CAD.
A 10% Buyer’s Premium ($CAD)
will be retained by
UBIDMACHINERY.COM,
and this premium will be added to the final bid price.
In the event of a dispute arising over a bid lot,
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
further reserves the right to refuse or reject bids.
If the highest bid is cancelled due to an unforeseen
reason, the next highest bidder will be contacted by
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
and will be offered the machine at his bid price and
this, only if the Seller has previously agreed to accept
the bid.
