If you have the highest bid at the end of the auction, at/or above the Reserve Bid price, you are obliged to complete the transaction. Only under the following exceptional circumstances will you be released from your bid: i.e. the Seller modifies the description of the machinery after you have placed your bid, or a typing error, or if the identity of the Seller cannot be validated.

For more information on the bidding process, please refer to the Tutorial link located at the top of the page. You will find all of the procedures for bidding are clearly outlined to assist you in the bidding process.

All machinery purchased are subject to local tax laws. All bids are based on Canadian dollars ($CAD) and UBIDMACHINERY.COM will collect a 10% buyer's premium ($CAD) from the Buyer. This premium will be added to the final bid price only when the machine is sold as indicated on the web site.

In the event of a dispute arising over an auction, UBIDMACHINERY.COM reserves the right to refuse or reject bids. If for some unforeseen reason the higher bid is cancelled and yours is the next highest bid, UBIDMACHINERY.COM will contact you to offer the machine to you at your Bid Price and this, only if the Seller is agreeable to this arrangement.

Important Information Regarding the Bidding Process

All bids placed on the UBIDMACHINERY.COM web site are governed by and subject to the BIDDING CONDITIONS outlined in the BIDDING CONDITIONS segment of the TERMS & CONDITIONS page.

Only bids from a Registered Member (Bidder) will be accepted. Remember, when registering as a Member, you are guaranteeing the information you are provided to UBIDMACHINERY.COM is true and accurate. All bids made on the UBIDMACHINERY.COM auction service web site are legally binding and cannot be withdrawn once they have been placed.

Rules & Regulations for Bidding:

  1. In order to place a bid on an item posted on the UBIDMACHINERY.COM you must log-on as a Registered Member and agree to the TERMS & CONDITIONS. This important step must be performed every time you log on to the site to bid. However, it is not necessary to log on if you are browsing and not placing a bid.
  2. The Seller and UBIDMACHINERY.COM will determine the amount of time allocated for the sale of the item prior to the posting process. For example, if the Seller chooses a ten-day auction period, the item will be featured during that time period. If bids on the machine have attained the Reserve Price at the end of the 10-day period, the machine will be declared as sold, and the sale will be legally binding.
  3. It is important to note that if you place a bid during the last two (2) minutes of the bidding process, the timer will automatically reset to an additional two (2) minutes (added on to the existing time left) – for example: if 20 seconds are left before the close of the auction, the timer would reset to 2 minutes and 20 seconds. This will occur every time someone places a bid during that two-minute time period. If no more bids are placed within that two-minute time period, the bidding process will be officially concluded and the machine will be sold.
  4. If your bid is the highest bid at the end of the auction and it meets the Reserve Price, and the Seller is obliged to accept your bid, and you are obligated to buy the machine. See BIDDING CONDITIONS at the beginning of this page for any exceptions to this rule.
  5. All bids are in Canadian dollars ($CAD).
  6. A 10% Buyer’s Premium ($CAD) will be retained by UBIDMACHINERY.COM, and this premium will be added to the final bid price when the machine is sold.
  7. In the event of a dispute arising over a bid lot, UBIDMACHINERY.COM further reserves the right to refuse or reject bids.
  8. If the highest bid is cancelled due to an unforeseen reason, the next highest bidder will be contacted by UBIDMACHINERY.COM and will be offered the machine at his bid price and this, only if the Seller has previously agreed to accept the bid.
