auction service web site. Bids will only be accepted from a
registered member to whom
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
has issued a Bidder Name and Password.
Payment Terms & Conditions of
Sale
All transactions effected on
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
are in $CAD. An invoice outlining the terms of payment will
be issued to you at the close of the auction and must be
paid within 48-hours. A Buyer’s premium equaling 10% of
the sale price will be added on to the final total bid
price. At the close of the auction, if you are the highest
bidder, you will be contacted by email or fax in order to
process the arrangements for invoicing and payment.
Shipping and delivery for the machine(s) bought will be
the responsibility of either the Buyer or the Seller as
specified by the conditions of the sale for the
machine(s). All invoices will be sent to the address
indicated on your MEMBERSHIP
REGISTRATION APPLICATION FORM.
All bids are legally binding and you are required to
proceed with payment of the machine(s) purchased at the
close of the auction. Following the issuance of an
invoice, payment must be remitted in full within a 48-hour
period to
UBIDMACHINERY.COM. Failure
to do so will automatically render the sale null and void.
The payment will be made via a certified check, direct
deposit, bank
draft or wire transfer.
Conditions of Sale (Please read
carefully):
All descriptions of machinery for machinery
to be posted on the
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
auction service web site, are true and accurate to be best of
UBIDMACHINERY.COM’s
knowledge. Any errors or omissions will be rectified as soon as
they are brought to our attention. In some
cases, these changes may be made during the bidding process.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
cannot assume responsibility or be held liable for any errors,
omissions or inaccurate descriptions on postings shown on
its auction service web site.
Listings for machinery are to be described in text form and
must be accompanied by at least two (2) pictures of the
machine in a 35 mm format or in a digital format. The
Seller must provide an accurate description and
pictures of the machine to be listed for
auction. The Seller should include the condition of the machine
for sale, product warranties (if applicable) and any extra
charges. The sale of the machine shall be considered
final at the end of the listing period once the
Reserve Price has been met.
The Seller is obligated to complete the sale if the
Reserve Price has been met.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
may suspend or terminate an account if a
Member is found
to have been involved in or is currently involved in dishonest
activity in connection with this site.
The Seller should not offer the same machine for sale in
another venue during the listing period on
UBIDMACHINERY.COM.
If UBIDMACHINERY.COM
becomes aware of such activity, it will contact the Seller and
will cancel the sale and the Seller's membership.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the machinery
featured on the
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
auction service web site.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
cannot, at any time, make any guarantees as to the
availability, suitability or
compatibility of any particular machinery that is listed for
sale on its auction service web site.
Terminology
To Be Used When Describing Machinery For Sale
All individual lots have a description of the
machinery to be sold or bid upon.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
or the Seller may
use the following terms to describe the condition of the machine for sale.
Excellent –
Used equipment with very low hours of use; normally a
new model with no parts missing.
Very Good – Used
equipment with moderate use; well maintained with no
parts missing.
Good – Generally used
equipment with every day use, mechanically sound.
Poor – Used equipment
in need of repairs; usually an older model.
Delivery
Conditions
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
is not responsible for any delivery charges or any
expenses included in the shipment of machinery bought or
sold. Rigging, loading, dismantling charges for the machine
bought will be the responsibility of either the Buyer or
the Seller as specified by the conditions of the sale for
the machine.
Once the Buyer receives the Confirmation of Payment
Notice, he must contact the Seller to make arrangements
to ship the machine. When picking up his machine, it is
recommended that the Buyer present a copy of the Confirmation of Payment
Notice
to Seller as proof of his purchase.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM does not make these arrangements for
Buyer and will not be held responsible for problems arising from
such matters.
Warranties
& Guarantees
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
does not offer any guarantees or warranties on any items
to be sold or bought through its auction service web site.
These warranties and guarantees are to be provided by the
Seller.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
will not in any manner be involved in or be responsible
for any returns, insurances, insurance claims, damage
claims or lost machinery that is sold on its site. These
claims must be addressed to the Seller, shipping company,
or any other agent used in the transaction.
All machinery is sold “as is” unless otherwise stated.
UBIDMACHINERY.COM
will not and cannot be held liable or responsible for any
machinery that is damaged or lost in transit. Any such
claims or responsibility must be addressed to the Seller.
